This Morrigan fanart was a remake of another Morrigan fanart I had done twenty years ago in 2002 (2nd image). It was a piece I had tried to sell at Otakon in 2003, but I wasn't happy with it, and it ultimately didn't sell. Since then, I had always wanted to try redrawing it, but I had stopped drawing full-color works in 2004. I had started drawing again in 2017 and decided to give it another shot in 2022.
I had struggled with the piece and restarted it ten times before I was happy with the sketch! I was patient with the piece, hoping to fulfill my promise to myself to draw a Morrigan fanart piece that I liked!
