Yet another old one. One of my most ambitious ones. It was a submission. Shoutout to Deniss
“Day ??? Of running away: jack and his gang haven’t found me yet, maybe because of the mask that old lady gave me a while ago, a good thing. My life as a roaming, traveling lawyer hasn’t been that good. I go from village to village, looking for new clients. The latest being this one i stumbled upon, a village of living mushrooms. There isn’t a sign of any kind of intelligent matter apparat from them in over A HUNDRED MILES. They have proven to be very caring and attentive, they even gave me a room to stay in. I have noticed that they only come out at night, so tonight I went to the local shopping area and something about it all was… unsettling. I heard a couple of them talking about me as ‘one of the most interesting ones they had in a while’ and now, after seeing what I saw in the marketplace, all I want to do is ESCAPE”
