Jacob is a devil fox who was made fun of due to his colour and his personality, he was meant to be a dark, angry, bloodthirsty creature, but came out as a small, happy, cheerful young fox, due to his difference they kicked him out of there home and he lives in a new world of confusion and strangeness, eventually he met a bunny about his age who was also rejected and they eventually fall for each other (I know this is super bad and sounds like a little 8 year old story but I’ll update his backstory much later once I’ve thought of something ^_^)
