So, just Maple standing in the mirror of water, already knowing her future in the Dark Forest.
It's Warriors AU that I came up with in days. The world consists only of crystals, glass, lots of water and, of course, mirrors. As cats don't understand their own mirror images and here there are actually a lot of them, after some time they start to lose their mind. It was the same with Mapleshade, which was kicked out of her clan, surrounded only by her own reflection during her lonely journey, simply going crazy.
In addition to the usual reflections, the aquatic ground often shows them images from the future or shapes of other cats (often cats from Starclan or Dark Forest). Maple didn't get a prediction of her actions and why she would go to the Dark Forest, but thanks to the reflection she was aware that she would go to this place. As a result, she was very afraid of death, and when she went on Miller's farm, her own bloody reflection terrified her.
