I've mentioned this Uncle guy in two ref sheets maybe I should actually get a design for him instead of just mentioning him lmao-
The Rue family lore continues with this ref sheet, Nerita here confirmed living with her uncle after 'family events', Myco ran away from home for seemingly 'no reason' and doesn't speak of the parents which is quite odd considering how important family is to this...well...family.
also why is so much of the family living in the woods tbf I wanna live in the woods but still-
I imagine Nerita here is good friends with Smiley and tags along on their lil happiness adventures even when she's tired cus she wants to spend time with her friendo.
Also if you're into this series you may be like "wait other core characters in her age range? Isn't Smiley the only one?"
