Hazelheart gave him a look of sorrow wrapping his tail in the two apprentices. And like a rock, the realization hit her. Everyone was being as kind and compassionate as possible with her, and the few words her brother said convinced her of what she had been trying to avoid.

She had given her life to save her half sister and the life of other cats.
