I wanted to draw something that wasn't too obvious at first glance. I chose the chemical P4S3 also known as phosphorus sesquisulfide which is a chemical used in "strike anywhere" matches. Since Lunar New Year has just past, matches made me think of firecrackers used during festivals. Therefore, I drew the character in Asian inspired clothing and hairstyle to match the theme of the match stick and in celebration of the new year.
