also the glass/liquid have to be similar colors. because if you look into a blue piece of glass at water what do you see? blue water. also if i feel like it ill give your OC something special 😏 (itll change their appearance, but in pm I'll ask you if you want it there or not) anyways, ill keep a lookout for my dms but don't worry if I don't get to it right away...
