hhm it wasn't too long ago I drew a courigear, I think. But let's face it, the design is crappy as hell. I never got anywhere with the lore because I didn't know what I wanted.
Courigears don't have a purpose to me anymore. I despised them, always seeing them as cheap protogen rip-off - and, honestly, they are.
What I'm getting at is that I'm completely re-doing all of it. Starting from scratch again and slowly build them into a real species with a clear purpose and origin.
That's what I've always wanted, but I could never bother because I didn't care about them enough.
Anyway, I suppose this is a sneak-peek of what the redesigns will look like - the species might be re-named in the future, too! At first glance the new courigear designs could more easily be mistaken for a proto-/primagen, but they're not if you actually compare them side-by-side (it's called inspiration and it's a beautiful thing, really.) You can keep drawing them how they bu t- updated ref. coming soon ig??
