I can't sleep and someone sparked my interest by asking about brushes so BAM.
This was made with ibis paint as most of my art is but this can be done in medi.
I used a customized watercolor pencil, genius pen, and a default felt tip pen. I reccomend messing with brushes and finding what you like.
Some extra info on a few steps:
2. I often use a dark purple or pink on full saturation and 30% darkness for this. I usually go into these blind without much ideas and make the character as I go along. I find it can make these one offs mixed with my art style and motifs have hard to pinpoint genders but I don't mind too much ngl lol.
3. decently self explanatory, be sure to not fully blend the sketch tho you want some clear lines.
step 8 and 9: I reccomend using a more opaque pen for adding lines and highlights.
Advice if you wanna make something like this: Work through the ugly early stages can be very ugly sometimes lol
