Recently, both me grandma and my brother haven't been the best state of mind for different reasons. One of their tendencies is to one day tell me to be myself, and then the next day, they bash me for it, so I don't know what they want from me. My brother called me, my mom and my future sister-in-law "retarded" just because we're "f***king women", to put it in his words. And the other day, we were watching "So You Think You Can Dance" and he walks in and asks, "The f**k you guys watching?" I told him what the show was and he asked me if I liked it, and I replied "Yes. Why? Should I NOT like it?" A minute later, he says "Yeah, Mary. You sshouldn't like it." And my grandma bashes me for a bunch of different things. I've been silent about this for too long, so I told my mom that it was bugging me.
