for my submission, in order to capture the essence of being a student, I was aiming to have an overall warm tone and colors to the illustration in order to push the feel of nostalgia. I chose to add my own original characters: one is having fun with her dog and the other two sparking a romance in a fantastical location by the cliffs and waterfalls as well as showing their school in the background.
