I admire people who go around lifting others up, helping everyone out of kindness, just doing their best to make others happy. I think they're cool!


in middle school, there was a new student in our class, a girl everybody avoided and isolated because she was really spoiled ( I won't deny she was a bit of a handful, but she wasn't a bad person)

The whole classroom ignored or bad mouthed her, the teachers didn't do anything about it ( I'm not sure if they knew), due to that she was very lonely.

I remembered that once I was shy and couldn't make any friends, then one of my friends took me under their wing ( after that I've got a group of friends)

Then I thought "It's my turn to be that person!"

I went ahead and befriended that girl ( my friends were a bit against it in the beginning, eventually they started talking with her too )


If no one talked to that girl, middle school wouldn't have been a good memory for her... I'm not sharing this story for praise, I want to encourage you!
