This lovely lady is of course the mother of my baby botterwurm, and is a carnivore with cannibalistic tendencies. Meaning that similar to a preying mantis, she will eat the head of her mate during their business and he will finsh regardless. However, instead of eating his body, she will lay her eggs in it and guard him and their eggs until they hatch. Then she leaves so she doesn't eat her babies and they fend for themselves (after eating their dad's dead body. Ew I know, but the circle of life must go on)
