Secret Society: Devotees of Himala, the Goddess of Magic, believe that every person alive has the capability to perform magic, cast spells, and channel the mysterious force that the goddess Herself granted unto them. Some people just need a little push. Elissa Erwin, aspiring entrepreneur and devoted cleric of Himala, took it upon herself to collaborate with the goddess to found ALMS, the Association for Latent Magical Sense, to help awaken the world to their true potential. To this day, she is the head of the nonprofit organization, and many refer to her as simply the Headmistress.
The headquarters of the Association is located on its own demiplane, a chunk of earth transported to a space between planes of existence, where it hovers alone and houses several magic students from day to day.
Nothing suspect happens here. The Goddess Herself has never done anyone any wrong. There is no reason to question the Headmistress. All is well.
