This is my version of Johannes Vermeer's painting; The Girl with a Pearl Earring.

I drew in my favorite drawing style: shoujo manga!

Now some curiosities about the original painting:

1 - Although the girl seems to have no eyelashes, actually, she has, but it's extremely thin.

2 - The background turned black with the passage of time, but in the past it was a dark green background, a fabric hanging behind the girl, actually.

3 - The pearl earring is actually an illusion. There is nothing to connect the accessory to the girl's ear.

4 - The identity of the girl portrayed in this painting is unknown.
