One of the things that scares us the most, if indeed we’ve thought we’ve accepted it, is that we will fall asleep one day - quickly, painfully, however it goes - & be trapped. In a small box, a ditch, ash. We will think to not be saved because we’ve already moved on...or at least we’d like to believe so, maybe we have. You’ll realize, at some point, it’s the constant questioning that burdens us, but...we will never not have questions. Never not desire answers. This is a small part of who we’re.
