Fern is an ancient queen who ruled before Hallownest's existence and way before the Pale King's time, she lived in a large area in between the Queen's garden and Greenpath, but she moved to the Fungal wastes after the Pale King started ruling over Hallownest
Not my best bit of backstory but meh, I'll figure out more when I eventually make her ref,but all I know is that if I actually decide to keep her (and I probably will) she's gonna be a pain in the ass to animate and draw cause of all of her details, so I might make the mushrooms and stuff an optional thing so that they don't have to be drawn every time
