今回は本の帯をテーマにしてみました。本の帯というのは日本独特の文化だそうです。海外では帯どころかカバーさえない状態で売られていることも珍しくないとのこと。調べてみますと、日本の書店に帯がついた本が並んだのは大正時代。最初の帯は白地に大きく「読め！」と書かれていたそうです。インパクト大ですね。
自分の作品集がいつか出せたらいいな、という妄想で描きました。なおタイトルは江戸川乱歩の「屋根裏の散歩者」を私が間違えて覚えていたものです。名前を勘違いして覚えてること、ありますよね。

I drew it with the delusion that I wish I could put out my work collection someday. In addition, the title is what I mistakenly remembered the "walker in the attic" of Edogawa Ranpo. There are things you remember by misunderstanding the name, right?
