The Vlada (Croatian for council) is the council that rules the country. There are 8 members in the Vlada, each a member of one of the 8 powered royal families. The powers are fire, storm, earth, water, light, poison, healing, and darkness. Each Vlada member wears a ring with a jewel. If one is to collect all 8 jewels, they can wield all 8 powers. The Vlada member from the storm (twister) family has become fed up with the democracy of the Vlada and wants to do what she wants without the restrictions of the others in the Vlada. As a result, she journeys to collect all 8 gems, destroy the Vlada, and rule the country as a dictator.
