The girl was sacrificed to the sea to become its bride by her village. She's falling deep into the sea, with its kelp and all embracing her. She's in a state of peace as she remembers her life and her soul shines in happiness yet sadness. The sea, saddened by the fact that the village insists on continuing to give it brides lets warm light shine on her, letting her feel the warmth as she dies.
