I felt that her name would start with the letter “M”, but just couldn’t think of a right one.
There is a mage from a game that I like and her name is Melly, when I think about her, I always say “Melly, the mage” in my head… I really liked this name, so I remembered it and used it here. Itt felt right.
Although this character is no “mage”, I left a reference of sorts at the top left corner of the canvas. This Melly really likes testing out different and weird outfits (her default look is the one in the middle) and so the one on that corner is her halloween witch costume(somehow I unintentionally made it look super creepy…)
I like her smile. It’s very simple, weird and unique.
