色と額のキズから「ばってん赤丸」という名前にしましたが、裏設定では額のキズの「ばってん」と、九州弁の「ばってん」をかけていまして、この赤いちび恐竜は「九州弁」で話す、と言う設定もあります。あと歩くと「足の肉球」が「プニョプニョ」と音を立てると言う設定もあります。
