Don’t feel like I’ve really managed to paint what/how I wanted to paint, so I might redo it. But I can really respect that this time I attempted to focus on the emotion and the atmosphere instead how I often try to focus on a certain unimportant detail and end up failing terribly. I don’t regret this attempt, but I can do better, I’m sure I can.
The last part of Rambo for the most part is the worst of them, it’s just too modern and introduces a lot of new things and characters that don’t feel like they needed to be there. For example - Gabriella. She serves as the main reason why Rambo does what he does in the second part of the movie(which is genuinely awesome), but her connection with Rambo I can’t feel. Rambo is a father figure to Gabriella and I feel that trough Stalone’s great acting(he’s gotten much better over the years), but I didn’t feel that Gabriella showed or felt anything similar, not until this singular scene, which in my head I named “Blue”.
