Entry No. 8 of my handheld sketchbook series!
Heyo! I’m back! Apologies for the long unannounced hiatus, I swear I am back! For the time being, at least. I’m worried I’ll get too busy to post again in a couple of months, but I’ll do my best keep you all updated if my schedule becomes inconsistent again. Also, while I still have quite a bit of old art to post, I’m going to start posting my digital work again soon! And let me just say, I’ve improved A LOT!! So be on the lookout for that :D
To the sketchbook page itself, I was pretty proud of this one in the moment because it was my first time drawing a full-body without reference. Not that references are bad, (I still use them lots) but it was a sign in the moment that I was improving! I do also plan to draw this girl more in the future; it was super fun experimenting with the makeup and earrings and I’d love to do it more! And yeah I know the one foot is wonky but shhh 🤫 this was over half a year ago, I’ve improved lots since then :)
