Originally, it was a traditional sketch made with watercolour brush pens, but due to paper starting to act up on me I decided to repaint it with medibang.
Steps:
Taking and cropping photo,
Using "extract line" filter (which allowed me to keep general tones and to get rid of colours)
Painting the base using "fluffy watercolor" brush (directly with my finger on Android tablet PC)
Applying various layer modes to each repainted item (on separate layers).
I love how natural this brush looks.
It was a harsh week, and colouring was pretty much my only source of comfort. But I'm happy with my practice this far. Anatomy is still off as ever, but everything else... Isn't this guy quite a charmer?^_^
