こんな昔話があります。
あるとき一匹のさそりとイタチが川の向こうにいこうとしていました。「イタチさん、僕を背中に乗せて川向こうまでいってください」「嫌だよ、君は私を刺すんでしょう？」「そんなこと、しませんよ。僕もおぼれてしまうじゃないですか」「それもそうだ」イタチはさそりを乗せて川の途中まで来ましたか。すると、さそりはイタチの背中を刺してしまったのです。「君はどうして刺すんだい？二人ともおぼれてしまうじゃないか？」さそりはいいました。「ああ、だって僕はさそりだもの」
