Both characters featured are my original characters. The frost-bitten knight (left) and the Butterfly (right), a couple I created for a longer story/au (original work). The Knight is a trusted member of the knights of the kingless kingdom (names might change due to work still being in progress) and his species is "elf" (he/they). One of the special characteristics of elves is the lower body temperature. The constant pale blue-white clouds he blew while he breathed is what made his colleagues give him the nickname "frostbitten knight". Butterfly (she/her) is a sacred being, important to any existence in their universe (information not known to most of the residents and Butterfly herself). Her wings are actually a swarming mass of flying immortal butterflies that are connected to her shoulder blades. This illustration is about the meeting between them, foretold ages before their existence. They were supposed too m*rder each other, however a special connection formed between them.
