Morning sketch.
A knight is charging into enemy stronghold. While he does that he remembers his life. The knight remembers all the times he’s been praised, as well as all the times he’s been scolded and that one time when his mother was very proud of him… remembering that he starts pondering about the meaning of his life… Is this, what I’m doing now, really what I want, he asks himself.
“No.”
He turns around and starts running away.
And he keeps running until he can’t no more, until his limbs don’t have the strength to move the heavy armour he has on. And then he falls forwards and lies there. Under the helmet very heavy breathing can be heard and under the steel of that helmet there is a face that has a look of happiness and proudness. Why would he feel proud? After all, didn’t he just ran away?…
He did, but was it because he was scared or did he just realise that this life is not the life he wants, that as long as he keeps living that way he will never be happy…
