Working as a police officer while being a vampire is a thankless position to be in... But Beth takes one day at a time.
Lot of human civilians who aren't too used to vampiric forms tend to get scared when seeing Beth in action (due to it taken as a form of extreme hostility & bad etiquette among human/vampire social interaction).
She just can't take a break!
Thankfully she has her friend Patrick to vent on.
