Tourmaline is a strong independent gem.
During the war she lost a close friend and lover.
Tugtupite was shattered in the gem war she was also Tour's friend and lover.
Tour goes c around collecting pieces of Tug's gem in hopes to restore her, but never manages to do so because Tour herself ends up getting shattered and tossed into the ocean.
