Chiori Hana is a flirtatious and haughty priestess who came to serve Lord Yager Tybris when he was titled "Kami Eraba". She operates as both a magician and spy for his Clan, is friends with Kitsune/Aisuru, and is also a Crane Spirit (Kuren) who serves one of the Four Dragon Gods, the God of the Water & Sea.
Hana meets the Yama siblings and friends shortly after Aisuru joins them, and offers some assistance in their trials - while secretly gathering information and updating Lord Tybris on their status and whereabouts. She is even assigned to kill them at one point, acting as a Seishin Shinobi, but is thwarted by Kitsune and unable to complete the task. Following difficulties prevent her from successfully spying on them thereafter.
