In a land where mankind struggles to survive not only a creeping desolation, but a colossal destroyer hunting for those whom remain, protectors that wield sacred arts hunt it down. Magesters, men and women that harness the elements have protected stragglers in the last settlements and hovels on the outskirts from scavenging beasts and lurking doom. Fewer and fewer magester are born until only one is left, this young man like his predecessors, sets out on a seemingly futile task.
