The idea for this painting was autumn itself. My goal was to show the colors of autumn and October (in Croatian the word october comes from the word leaf+ falling) without actually using the classic colors that people first come to mind when they hear the term colorful. I chose the classic autumn colors and I extracted their shades and made it a colorful October. My main motifs are leaves that not only appear in the background, but are the shape of hair, earrings and sweater. The female character represents the changing weather, announces winter with a scarf around her neck, recalls summer with sunglasses and represents autumn with a sweater and a cup that starts to be used at this time of year... Autumn is the time when hot drinks such as coffee, milk, tea, hot chocolate, etc. appear. Now leaves come out of the Cup, which itself begins to fall off in October, it floods the drawing just as in autumn leaves flood the streets, parks and cities around the world.
