So I was studying the Japanese sfx used in “a bride’s story” manga and came across this katakana character which totally blew my mind! It was used with エ (ヴェェ) to indicate sheep making beeh sounds.(other than べええ) and it was translated to “bweeeh”! But websites teaching Japanese say it has a “vu” sound…either way if you are interested in Japanese katakana and sfx look it up. There’s more to learn about it!
