For Assignment 4 we were tasked to do a portrait of an artist. He wanted us to try to incorporate more to the figure by having elements that help tell the story behind the figure.
I decided to go with the lead singer of the band Joywave, Daniel Armbruster.
This piece features many nods to the band and a bit of his personal life.
This was one of my absolute favorite pieces of the class and I think it really shows my progress with digital painting as a whole.
This piece was completed on April 15, 2020.
