後にあるのはマコンデ彫刻といいます。
それはアフリカ・タンザニアに住むマコンデ族の作り出した作品のことです。アフリカの大地が生み出したといってもいい生命力ある彫像で、時にユーモラスでありミステリアスでもあります。農作業の様子や飢餓、病などの作品もあり子育てをする母の姿などに心を打たれます。
時代や場所が変わっても、人が願うもの、恐れるものには普遍の共通点があるのだな、と思いました。

It is a work created by the Makonde people living in Tanzania, Africa. It is a statue with vitality that can be said to have been created by the African land, and sometimes it is humorous and mysterious. There are also works such as the state of farm work, hunger, and illness, and I am touched by the appearance of mother raising children.
