This is a continuation of Yugoslavia headcanons. Time skip a few decades, the Soviet Union collapses in 1991. For reasons I don’t really know yet, many nations are dissolved, including the love of his life, Czechoslovakia (who died dec. 31 1992, btw they were allies when they were alive, look it up) and basically his children wanted independence as well, and since that’s such a good parent move, he fights wars against almost all his children. Eventually he lets them go… after they kick his ass, that is. In 1999, he gets bombed by NATO for being a total butthead by ethnically cleansing his country of Albanians because thy hate each other, and fun fact, the bombing, I’m pretty sure, is a war crime. In 2003 he changes his name to Serbia and Montenegro, and dies June 5, 2006)This is also a fact) because Serbia and Montenegro both want independence and he decides to be a good parent for once and totally not because they’re his favorite children-
