I made this OC a lot of time ago but never showed her to y'all so here ;)
Young woman from the '40s

Mary
Mary is a young woman from the late '30s that used to spend all her time with her lover (still need to choose a name for him), they were such a cute couple...!
But then... December 7, 1941, America declared war to Japan and, a few days later, Germany declared war to USA. Mary's new husband, since he's been part of the US army for years, left in 1942 for the North Africa Campaign, the first American expedition.
The day of his leaving, the woman was crying, begging the love of his life to stay, but then he told her to not worry, because he was sure that they'll meet again, even though he didn't know where or when, but he knew they'll meet again some sunny day.
He smiled at her, and kissed her before entering the truck full of other soldiers.
