I was scared to give Faust a lab coat because of everyone saying Genesis was a Mystery recolor because of his lab coat. Ever since I redesigned Gen, I haven't drawn a lab coat since.
But Faust wears a lab coat because he was a surgeon before he died

She was originally going to be purple all over or something idk
