I wanted to design my own armor. The only place with exposed skin is the face, neck, and down to the chest but chainmail is everywhere else. I made her a blue eyed sheep girl because red eyes would have made her look like some kind of Demon Goat. In reality she's a bit of a lamb. I referenced poses off of a mannequin app. I drew her by hand on the computer. Then referenced 14th century to 15th century medieval armor to make her armor more attractive.
Heavy Metal Magazine used to do warrior chicks kind of like this but their newest magazine cover featured an armor design that was kind of . . . plain. Heavy Metal Magazine used to be the kind of magazine kids hid from parents.
On my take for heavy metal armor I wanted it to be pretty but fierce. Also medieval armor is sometimes my go to for armor research because it's just so cool. I put the subtle sexual expression on it because, while my sheep isn't outright sexy, she does have a small bit of romanticized armor without alot of skin.
