Resetting the counter yet again because I failed… in more ways than one.
I feel frustrated at not being able to paint according to this reference well. The moment which I tired to “study” is from a movie which i watched because of a deal(a trade obligation), but ended up quite liking. It’s not my favourite movie of all time, not even close, but it stands high above the other movies of this series. Everything is better about this movie compared to the ones that came before and the last one that came more than a decade later. And this moment felt very atmospheric, very “deep”. I didn’t manage to show it well… but that’s nothing to be depressed about, is it?[trying to convince myself not to get depressed…]
I did a daily study, I tried painting from a reference I wanted to paint from… I did SOMETHING. Pride isn’t good, but the opposite of it ain’t good either. I don’t want to live in extremes, but instead i want balance. And to reach balance is truly difficult.
