新月(朔月)の秘密というのは、『夜』という布をうさぎが纏って、月を守ってるような逸話を描きたかったです。
月は願いのシンボルなので、月が月でいるためにおやすみするために、そっと夜の布を被せて、うさぎと共に眠りにつこうとしている…そんな秘密。
Theme: "New Moon"
For the secret of the new moon, I wanted to depict an anecdote in which the rabbit wraps itself in a cloth called "night" to protect the moon.
The moon is a symbol of wishes, so in order for the moon to go to sleep and remain the moon, the rabbit gently covers itself in the cloth of night and goes to sleep with it...that's the secret.
