Bedrock is a sleeping rock bear, who mysteriously arrived via a crashed comet. Most of the exterior protecting Bedrock burned up upon entry, leading to there being nothing to protect its back upon landing. However, thanks to the space core in its center, as Bedrock rests, the core can regenerate any damage done to Bedrock's exterior.
