Yes, this is late in the story Verdict War, but it is an important piece to help others understand where Eclipse Kazuki comes from. Eclipse is not an entire character on his own, he is part of Snow (my oc). Following is a brief overlay of this scene in Verdict War. [!!WARNING: SPOILERS!!].
Snow sees Mist, a Guardian of the magic Snow possesses. Most awakens this magic in Snow, who becomes Eclipse. The process is painful, he could feel his muscles tense and his fur stand on end as the white electricity that shot from it turned crimson red.
