You may see things how ZiM does, he sees a man in a dog costume, & assumes “man-dog hybrid” ZiM May seem partly sane but I think ZiM being defective affects his sanity. He has delusions of grandeur, & lacks morality in general & He also seems to have a hard time grasping anything. As for gir, I agree with Rikki Simons when he says that gir may be cute, but he’s crazy! He’s probably killed people! (based on the comics, He ate human children.) I like give a cold view of gir by saying he’s not a person, gir is just a broken machine that does things, gir doesn’t think about what it’s doing, it just does the first thing it’s circuits tell it to do. I also like to think that ZiM in his lunacy sees gir as more of a person than he is, or should be though of as. it’s evident in the show that ZiM cares for gir, but I see it like him having an imaginary friend. Gir acts like he has emotions but he’s just doing things. & I think ZIM being defective makes them both distinctional beings.
