Newest art of Blastoise from Pokémon red, blue, green, and yellow. I admit i hardly used blastoise in my life, when I was younger yes but later on I went towards charizard or venasaur for my starters. But one thing for sure, blastoise always seemed to be Gary's starter for me. Of course he had one in the anime, but in the game I would use charmander a lot and he picked blastoise. Playing the games, I always imagined My charizard and Gary's blastoise battling it out in the epic show down. Sure charizard would go down with a single hydro pump in the games but still, fun to imagine at the time.
