Naruto Uzumaki is the main character in the manga and anime series "Naruto" created by Masashi Kishimoto. His transliteration is Tuyen Quang Minh Nhan, which means whirlpool or spiral, perhaps inspired by the Naruto Whirlpool in Naruto Strait. When creating Naruto, Kishimoto wanted to keep the "simple and goofy" character while giving him a lot of personality like Son Goku, the main character from the Dragon Balls.
