Ebisu is your classic orphaned, street kid who led a criminal life of theft in order to survive. He's well aware of the harshness and inequality in the world and follows his own set of morals to combat them. Despite his poor manners and uncouth tongue, he has a caring heart and playful nature, and spends time looking after other orphans and causing trouble with local authorities.
Ebisu joined the Yama siblings and Ada Kaemon during their teen years, the four becoming good friends over time and aiding the other in their respected goals. They were even adopted together by the Danno family for a short period, before assassin's came and tore their world apart. His bond with them grew stronger and he looks forward to the day of kicking the Yager Clan's a**.
