Welp this was totally random
Anyways, so I got this idea during Chemistry and my mind suddenly went to humans acting as those unstable elements, nagging the noble gases for an electron or two in hopes of being like them.
So the blonde is supposed to represent Hydrogen and the brunette is Helium... (I do not mean this stereotypically). And the stuff on their heads are the electrons, since they can be exchanged during a chemical reaction, but the protons cannot, which is why they are stuck to the chokers around their necks.
Hydrogen, as you may (or may not) know, is a very unstable and flammable gas, while Helium is a noble gas and chemically stable.
So anyways, Hydrogen thinks that Helium could lend it a spare electron so that it could be stable.... sadly, noble gases do not react
(For all blondes, I did not intend for it to seem like blondes are always the dumb people, that is just a very stupid stereotype.)
